Affiliate Program

Overview

The Grassroots Workshops Affiliate Program ("Affiliate Program") is intended to reward approved affiliates for introducing customers to Grassroots Workshops through eligible, trackable referrals.

Commissions are paid only when purchases can be accurately attributed under these Affiliate Program Terms.

Participation in the Affiliate Program is voluntary and subject to these Affiliate Program Terms, the Grassroots Workshops Terms & Conditions of Use, Privacy Policy, Advertising Disclosure, and any additional applicable policies published by Grassroots Workshops.

Grassroots Workshops may approve or deny any application, suspend or terminate participation, modify or discontinue the Affiliate Program, or revise these Affiliate Program Terms at any time in its sole discretion. Continued participation in the Affiliate Program following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Affiliate Program Terms.

Eligibility

Participation in the Affiliate Program is by invitation or approval only.

Grassroots Workshops may limit participation to specific groups of affiliates, including current instructors and invited marketing partners.

Eligibility to participate does not guarantee continued participation in the Affiliate Program.

Affiliate Links and Affiliate Codes

Approved affiliates will receive:

• A unique affiliate tracking link.
• A unique affiliate code.

Affiliates may promote either or both.

Customers may use either an affiliate code or a referral code during checkout. Both cannot be applied to the same order.

Affiliate codes provide eligible customers with additional months of workshop access time. Affiliate codes are not discounts and should not be described as discounts.

Commission Eligibility

Affiliates earn commissions only on qualifying purchases.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, qualifying purchases earn a commission equal to 25% of the Commissionable Purchase Amount. Grassroots Workshops may establish different commission rates for specific affiliates, campaigns, or promotions.

The Commissionable Purchase Amount is the registration price less applicable loyalty discounts, promotional discounts, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, payment processing fees, and other amounts that do not constitute revenue received by Grassroots Workshops.

Grassroots Workshops reserves the right to determine the final Commissionable Purchase Amount.

Instructor Restrictions

Current Grassroots Workshops instructors:

• May not earn affiliate commissions on purchases of their own workshops.
• May not purchase workshops using their own affiliate link or affiliate code.
• May not otherwise attempt to generate commissions from their own purchases.

Any commissions earned in violation of these rules may be reversed or forfeited.

Attribution

Affiliate commissions are attributed according to the following rules:

• If an affiliate code is entered during checkout, that affiliate receives attribution.
• If no affiliate code is entered, attribution is assigned to the first qualifying affiliate tracking link clicked within the previous sixty (60) days.
• If neither condition is met, no affiliate commission will be paid.

Affiliate tracking cookies expire sixty (60) days after the initial qualifying click.

All attribution decisions made by Grassroots Workshops are final.

Qualifying Purchases

A purchase qualifies for an affiliate commission only if:

• Payment is successfully completed.
• The purchase is properly attributed under these Affiliate Program Terms.
• The purchase is not refunded, cancelled, charged back, or otherwise reversed.
• All Affiliate Program requirements have been satisfied.
• The purchase complies with all applicable laws and these Affiliate Program Terms.

Affiliate commissions cannot be added or reassigned after a purchase has been completed.

No retroactive affiliate credit will be granted.

Grassroots Workshops uses commercially reasonable tracking technologies but does not guarantee that every referral or click will be successfully tracked.

Refunds

Affiliate commissions remain pending until the applicable refund period has expired.

If a qualifying purchase is refunded, cancelled, charged back, or otherwise reversed while the related commission is still pending, that commission will be reversed. Commissions that are no longer pending are not reversed solely because of a later refund.

Payments

Affiliate commissions are paid quarterly.

Affiliate commission payouts are tracked and issued separately from instructor workshop payouts. Available affiliate commissions are calculated from earned commissions (after the refund hold period) less affiliate payouts already recorded.

Payments will only be issued after an affiliate has accumulated at least $50 USD in available commissions.

Commissions below the minimum payout threshold automatically roll forward until the threshold is reached.

Available commissions remain eligible for payment while the affiliate account remains active.

Grassroots Workshops may require completion of any applicable tax documentation before issuing payment.

Affiliate Dashboard

Grassroots Workshops may provide affiliates with an affiliate dashboard displaying commission activity, such as:

• Transaction history
• Workshops purchased
• Attribution method (affiliate code or affiliate link)
• Commission calculations
• Pending commissions
• Available commissions
• Payout history
• Estimated payout dates

Dashboard information is provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, Grassroots Workshops' internal records will control.

Marketing Guidelines

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that all promotional materials accurately represent Grassroots Workshops and its workshops.

Affiliates may not:

• Make false, misleading, deceptive, or exaggerated claims.
• Guarantee educational outcomes or results.
• Misrepresent workshop content.
• Describe affiliate codes as discounts.
• Represent themselves as speaking on behalf of Grassroots Workshops unless expressly authorized in writing.
• Engage in deceptive advertising, spam, or other unlawful marketing practices.

Affiliates are solely responsible for complying with all applicable advertising, endorsement, and disclosure laws, including applicable FTC endorsement guidelines.

Grassroots Workshops may provide optional marketing resources, including graphics, logos, suggested copy, workshop descriptions, images, or other promotional materials. Affiliates may use these resources only in accordance with any usage guidelines provided by Grassroots Workshops.

Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship where required by applicable law.

Intellectual Property

Grassroots Workshops retains all ownership rights in its trademarks, logos, workshop titles, graphics, videos, written materials, and other intellectual property. All goodwill arising from an affiliate's use of Grassroots Workshops' trademarks inures solely to the benefit of Grassroots Workshops.

Participation in the Affiliate Program grants affiliates a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use approved promotional materials solely for the purpose of promoting Grassroots Workshops in accordance with these Affiliate Program Terms.

Affiliates may not modify, reproduce, sublicense, or otherwise use Grassroots Workshops intellectual property except as expressly permitted.

Affiliates may not register domain names, social media accounts, advertising accounts, or other online properties that could reasonably be confused with or imply an affiliation with Grassroots Workshops beyond participation in this Affiliate Program.

Paid Advertising

Without prior written permission from Grassroots Workshops, affiliates may not:

• Bid on "Grassroots Workshops" or confusingly similar search terms.
• Bid on workshop titles, trademarks, or other branded keywords owned by Grassroots Workshops.
• Represent themselves as an official Grassroots Workshops website or business in paid advertisements.

Fraud and Abuse

Grassroots Workshops may withhold, deny, or reverse commissions if it determines, in its reasonable discretion, an affiliate has:

• Violated these Affiliate Program Terms.
• Manipulated the tracking system.
• Attempted self-purchases.
• Generated fraudulent transactions.
• Interfered with another affiliate's attribution.
• Otherwise abused the Affiliate Program.

Suspension or Termination

Grassroots Workshops reserves the right to suspend or terminate an affiliate's participation in the Affiliate Program at any time if the affiliate violates these Affiliate Program Terms, engages in fraudulent or deceptive conduct, fails to comply with applicable laws, or otherwise acts in a manner that may harm Grassroots Workshops or its customers.

Grassroots Workshops may suspend payment of pending commissions while investigating suspected violations.

Termination of participation does not affect Grassroots Workshops' right to reverse commissions associated with refunds, fraud, or violations of these Affiliate Program Terms.

Final Decisions

Grassroots Workshops reserves the right to make the final determination regarding:

• Affiliate eligibility.
• Commission calculations.
• Purchase attribution.
• Refunds.
• Suspected fraud.
• Interpretation of these Affiliate Program Terms.
• All other matters relating to the Affiliate Program.

Grassroots Workshops will make such determinations in its reasonable discretion, and those determinations will be binding for purposes of administering the Affiliate Program.

Taxes

Affiliates are solely responsible for all taxes arising from commissions paid under the Affiliate Program. Grassroots Workshops may require tax documentation before issuing payments and may withhold amounts if required by applicable law.

Independent Relationship

Participation in the Affiliate Program does not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, franchise, or other legal relationship between Grassroots Workshops and any affiliate. Affiliates act solely as independent contractors.

Limitation of Liability

Grassroots Workshops is not responsible for technical failures, tracking interruptions, website outages, payment processor failures, or other events beyond its reasonable control that may affect Affiliate Program operation.

Governing Law

These Affiliate Program Terms are governed by the same governing law and dispute resolution provisions contained in the Grassroots Workshops Terms & Conditions of Use.
